en I've learned a lot. I've learned that pretty much everything I have is replaceable, as long as I don't lose my family. I've gotten a lot closer to the people I work with - they pretty much became my family. You always learn stuff when things don't go right.

en I learned about what I love. Imagination, deep friendship, animals, family, the natural world, ideas and ideals ... and silliness.

en This is a play about what happens when the whole world comes into the kitchen. This is about a family in the midst of a lot of problems in the contemporary world: Crime, police corruption, family challenges, lack of money, family separation. And, of course, that sounds rather dramatic but like so many contemporary playwrights, Walker deals with these problems of today in a very absurdist comic way.

en Think what would happen if every Christian family would apply the commandments in their home and then share what they have learned with just one other family. We need to offer them some basic guidelines of the Bible to live by.

en We've learned where people came from, how they got water. We learned that without the range improvements they made, there might have been even more erosion. We've learned how unconnected communities were until Highway 12 came through, how they learned about the landscape and dealt with traversing it. We've learned how much courage it took. It's just a beautiful web of stories.

en “Nothing in this world is a gift. Whatever must be learned must be learned the hard way.”
  Carlos Castaneda

en I learned something yesterday, when they talk about the fire service being a family, I learned how true that is. I must have gotten calls from 20 districts yesterday.

en I wish I took more scientific classes, because I've always been interested in science. Most of what I have learned I've learned on the job. It's a really neat opportunity to learn by calling up scientists, some of which are world-renowned, ask them questions.

did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
