Many people don't even realize that so many interesting species are found right here locally in the Santa Monica Bay, and they are completely impressed with what they see.

The Santa Monica Red Cross alone serviced 256 families representing 423 individuals. Seventy-nine families were housed in hotels and motels while many others found accommodations with friends and families.

If you were a purist about language, you might think that this was a disease that people were contracting from contact with the show. I think a lot of people might consider humans to be at the pinnacle of evolutionary lineage -- that we have achieved an advanced state as a species, and we have basically become the end-game. But what we found indicates that the species -- particularly when it comes to the brain, which is perhaps our most defining feature -- is still evolving.

I looked at other places like Pasadena, but it's more conservative, more old style, European style over there, and there is more competition. I feel that the people who live in Santa Monica gravitate towards my style.
