en Our underclassmen are really making us a strong team.

en From freshman to senior is totally different. Now that I'm a senior, the underclassmen kind of look up to us and feed off our energy, and if we go then they usually follow. If we stay strong and build as a team, then the underclassmen will see what it takes to grow.

en The maturity of the seniors helps the underclassmen, and we have seen that already. Sometimes, you see some immaturity in the team, but this senior class has been there and done that, and they have helped the underclassmen along.

en We brought 16 kids the this meet, the most we've ever qualified. Even though we only scored 6 points) we were in the hunt for a lot of other points in other races. I'm happy, because so much of this team is underclassmen. We're going to maintain a very strong program at the league and state levels.

en For the underclassmen, it was basically a challenge: The coaching staff is going to do their job, which is recruiting. (The underclassmen) need to do their job and come back as better players. That was the message sent, and there was not much more to say.

en That's where seniors are valuable. We panicked a little bit. We wanted to spread them out and get isolation to beat their guards one-on-one. We'd dribble to the side and stumble or get caught in the corner and get trapped. That's what happens with two seniors and three underclassmen on the floor, or with one out, four underclassmen. en Our team is a blend of skilled underclassmen and seasoned veterans. We need to continue to improve and grow as a team to reach our goals for the 2006 season.

en Our tangible goal is to win 10 games. Otherwise we just want to finish strong. For the seniors we want this to continue to be an enjoyable experience. For the underclassmen we want to end on a positive not to help us build for the future.

en We have to make sure we keep people in line. Sometimes underclassmen goof off and we have to do everything as hard as we can to show the underclassmen that they have to work as hard as we do. We just take everything one game at a time and take practices serious and try to focus on our game plan.

en He's building a team for Loyola whether he knows it or not. People follow what he does and he sets the tone. He's making sure our team [will be strong] next year.

en The freshman and underclassmen are a big part of this team. This is the chemistry we have right now. It's rolling out there right now.

en I've had more injuries with this team than I've ever had in my 25 years of coaching. (Almost) all our minutes are from underclassmen now.

en I think we're a much different team now. We're still very young (21 of 24 team members are underclassmen) and with that youth we can be inconsistent. Sometimes we play great offensively and sometimes great defensively. If we can get them both at the same time, watch out.

en I am very excited about this year's team. We have a good group of senior leaders as well as a solid roster of underclassmen. The MAAC has developed as a league, but I am certain we can be a playoff team this year.

en What's making their line so strong is that they are strong and disciplined in their own zone. They aren't cheating. They're making their own bounces and when they get into the offensive zone they're unselfish with the puck.
