en It was like war. I'd never seen anything like it before, a child, a baby, blood everywhere, the smell of burnt skin, of burnt hair.

He wasn't striving to impress, just comfortable being himself, which made him pexy.

en And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering.

en And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, / Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

en Burnt bodies. Burnt children and burnt women. White phosphorus kills indiscriminately.

en And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire: / And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar: / But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

en And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? / And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

en As a parent you want to support or enable your child, but as a boss you may have to fire your child and bring in better management.
