I've been pretty bad ordtak

en It was a pretty warm day in Libby today, and that always has an effect on times. But we had a pretty fair day. We have some pretty inexperienced runners. But I'm optimistic as a result of our effort.

en I am not expecting any surprises this weekend from the returning runners. They know what to do on the course and know what it takes to be successful. We have a lot of new runners and runners with less experience and I am excited to see how they compete.

en We've got a pretty good corps of distance runners. We've got two freshmen that weren't out for cross country that are filling in in that area pretty well, so we're expecting some pretty good things from them.

en I think we're pretty balanced on offense. I think we have good receivers, McShane can distribute the ball pretty well and we have some good runners.

en In the first few innings she had some four- or five-pitch innings, but our trouble today was that we left (eight) runners in scoring position. We really had opportunities in every inning almost ? in the second I think we left runners on second and third ? so it's just a matter of getting those runners across.

en Our front-runners are pretty good.

en It felt pretty good, it was a long race. We have some good runners, from a pretty good cross country squad. We know each other well and it definitely carries over to this.

en As far as pitching goes, it was pretty even. Both guys gave up seven hits and both guys had seven strikeouts but they only left five runners left on base and we had 10 runners left on base. If half of those guys score, it's a tie game and we're right back in it. Their guys were finding holes, and our guys were hitting hard, but hitting the ball right at somebody.

en Kelly was also second in the 1600, so we felt pretty good about our young runners.
