en We had Leeaire back today, and when he's in the game he gives us a spark.

en The effort was there. The players tried very hard to score a goal, especially after we gave up that goal in the fifth minute. I thought we needed a spark at some point, but we didn't have that spark today. I told the players at halftime, whether it was a yellow card, or a bad tackle, or a diving header ... something that would wake them up even more. We are almost there, but obviously something was missing. Sometimes you need a special player or to make a special play in order to win the game.

en We didn't have a good practice at all yesterday morning. But we came back last night a little bit and there was definitely a spark there today.

en He did some tremendous things for us today. He gave us a big spark off the bench and that's what you need in those situations. He stepped up today.

en I'm not thrilled with that, but we have to overcome that sometimes. A game is not won in the first 10 minutes. I've learned enough in my four years as a pro to know it's a long game. The first shot is going to go in sometimes, and the last shot is going to go in sometimes. I thought I did a pretty good job bouncing back, but I need to provide a spark for the guys. I need to be a difference maker, and that includes doing it early.
