It was our first ordtak

It was our first wet game. The guys had been pretty frustrated on Tuesday. We talked about how everybody needs to step up and do there best effort, and we got that out of them today.

We definitely talked about that. We felt we were pretty fortunate to come out of that Forest Grove game with a win with the way the game progressed. To come out with a win, it should have jump-started us for this week. We definitely talked about that with these guys. I was pleased with the approach today that they came in with. We were able to jump on them early.

We had a good game today. Jeb had a great game and we had some guys really step up for us on both the offensive and defensive side of the field. It was a total team effort.

We had to adjust our game plan. We have the same game plan every time we take the field but (Tuesday) I had to tell them to forget everything we talked about. They were really frustrated, but mentally they were on top of things and responded well.

Sometimes, when you play in a game of this magnitude, it can wear on you a little bit. I don?t think the guys came out there intentionally to be a step slower. I thought our effort was pretty good. They were just better. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se.

We get one more crack at them on Tuesday and hopefully we can get the W. We played a good basketball game tonight against a good team. We needed the win and the guys went out and got it. Maybe this effort can carry over into Tuesday.

For the most part, I was very proud of our effort. Before the game, we talked a little bit about having tremendous respect for this program, but we couldn't let that become a fear factor. I thought our guys did a pretty good job of understanding that concept.

In the first half we were getting frustrated with each other, we weren't really working as a team. We talked at halftime about our frustration, and we came out knowing we had to step up and win the game.

Everybody talked about how we'd lose this game by 28 points. To me, it was a great effort by my team. We have grown a lot as a team in one week. We had our lapses on defense, but today was a great step for us.

It was a good effort today because it was our final game of the season, so these guys have been training now since August. I think we are all happy that the season is over, but it was good fun today. Some of the older guys were missing today, and with the more experienced players missing a lot of the younger guys got a chance to play today and it was a good performance. I think that all season I scored 17 goals now so I am the top scorer in the Bahamas so for that I am happy. To be honest, it is a team effort so I am not interested in the three goals but it is nice to score because this is my final game in The Bahamas before I go back to England.

It was one of those games that whoever hit shots first was going to get the game. We controlled the tempo and got them frustrated. But they had guys who don't normally step up step up and hit some shots.

The game was pretty ugly. We did a little bit to contain Lewis and Myer and I thought we got a good balanced effort from our guys. It was a nice effort but we were a little slow in the second quarter so we need to execute a little better in our transition game.

We're pretty young, but we had a good year. I was pleased with the effort our young guys put forward. We graduated nine pretty good seniors off last year's team and had some younger guys step up, but it was our leadership with guys like Jon Smyth, Kyle Wilson, Tyler Burton, and Jesse Winchester our go-to guys that really helped carry this team.

I'm actually proud of these guys. I'm frustrated for them, not frustrated at them. We overcame a lot of adversity leading into this game where everyone and their brother counted us out. ... I was pretty proud of how we reacted to all that adversity.

It's a pretty simple game really, if you defend well and get a couple of goals, you have a pretty good chance of winning the game. We did both of those today pretty well. This was an uplifting game for us. Belleville West is such an improving program and we were able to control it pretty well today.
