en If you're counting on home runs to win games, you're in bad shape. Home runs are not going to come every day. Home runs just happen. You get good at-bats, you put good swings on the ball. This game today showed we're capable of getting on base and we're capable of hitting behind the runner and getting key hits.

en Through the first two games of this series, all of our runs have come via the home run ball. We were not able to, when we tried to get something going, sustain it offensively to put ourselves in a position where a base hit or a gapper could score a couple of runs for us.

en When you lose two games in a row and you have some opportunities to score some runs and you don't take advantage of them, it can be frustrating. But we have two more games against these guys. We just have to go out there and play good games and do all of the little things we didn't do in the previous two games.

en I guess I didn't worry too much about the six runs I gave up. I tried to redeem myself with those two home runs.

en That's a very nice feeling. Last year, I hit 30 home runs and drove in 100 runs but we didn't go nowhere. Right now, we have a chance to go somewhere. That's most important to me.
