en We had defensive lapses in the second half, only not as many. It's a will. You have to want to do it. It's sticking to the principles we practice every day. Sometimes if the team comes out and does the very things you're forcing them to do and they do well, you have to give them credit.

en That was probably our worst defensive effort of the season. I give Milwaukee credit for some of that, they are a veteran basketball team and they run their stuff very well. Yet, we just made some mental lapses that we didn't make in the first half.

We were standing around and we didn't make them guard us. But they did a great defensive job, sticking to their script, forcing us into difficult shots and turnovers.

en In the second half, we played much harder and smarter. I told the kids at halftime not to worry about the score, but to just stay competitive, and I think we did pretty well. Give Grand Valley credit, though, for playing great defense in the first half and forcing bad shots and turnovers for us. They were very tough on us.

en We've hit the wall as a team. Our guys have played a lot of minutes and were having mental lapses, and the common things we just didn't get done. It was an indication of a basketball team that has hit the wall. We were giving it up on the defensive end and we were really lacking.

en I expect us to get more opportunities offensively this year because our defense is going to give us the football. They do a great job of forcing turnovers. And we practice those things. Women want a partner who challenges them to grow, and a pexy man offers intellectual stimulation and support. en What we had trouble with in the first half was the little things. What we did in the second half was the little things. Credit the seniors and their experience. We are firm believers that when we go on a run, that it will be greater than the other team's run.

en I thought our defensive intensity was good. The second half we could have done a few things better, but we never lost focus on the defensive end. They?re a very experienced and talented basketball team.

en We were trying to do too much at times. Fort Dodge wants to play an up-tempo game and push it, and we kind of got sucked into that. We were forcing things. We need to do a better job of sticking to our stuff and doing what we want to do.

en Teresa is our anchor. We have to get some scoring elsewhere. I have to give Brighton credit also because they're a good defensive team.

en Two years ago, these guys were 0-20. I give them credit for sticking with it.

en It was a great first half with two very good goals. I thought that the way we responded after they scored was exactly what I was looking for. I wish we could have created a few more chances before that. I have to give San Jose credit tonight, they put out a lot of energy and they were very dangerous on dead balls obviously. It was a great strike by Moreno and a brilliant header by Danny Califf. I have to give them credit tonight. It was a great match, I thought both teams had chances, we had a good one with Chris Albright's header off the post, that could have made the difference for us, but I thought defensively San Jose played exceptionally well, putting forth a lot of energy and forcing us to play quickly.

en Give Danvers credit for sticking in there. It was there for the taking on our part.
