en We've gone as much as 10 deep (players off the bench) in games and Corey's really stepped up for us.

en That's the awesome blend of this team -- the veterans and the new players. We have the ability to sub deep into our bench and different people have stepped up on different days.

en Most of the games that were significant I went about 10-deep on our bench. And 10-deep meaning my eight and nine can still guard your top two. I started off the year practicing against boys, and I got rid of them because my second five was better than the boys that I could get to come play us.

en They were suspended two games by the (OHSAA). In the last game of the regular season they left the bench. Both were starters. The other team started the altercation after they were up by 25 points, that's why they were on the bench. The altercation was on the opposite end of the court and our players walked out on the floor. I grabbed them, sat them back down, but the rule says that if you cross the black line, it's two games.

en It was a good effort by everybody, the bench players stepped up.

en He really stepped up. That was one of his better games. All of these guys who came off the bench really helped us.

en Corey plays defense so hard, and he's a real defensive catalyst off the bench. Lamar also had one of his better games at the defensive end. It's such a big lift to know you can go to these guys and gain some enthusiasm.

en We had a rough season with injuries and do not have a deep bench. We used seven players all year. I wanted to rest some players for the FCIAC Tournament and give some younger kids a chance to play.

en That makes it even tougher for us. You have to win three games in three days, and we're not going to have that deep bench like the other teams.

en That was a key stretch. When Greensville took that lead, I wondered how the kids would respond. We haven't trailed in many games, and especially on this stage. Everyone stepped up with Hosea on the bench.
