I have all the respect in the world for Franklin, they are very tough to beat at home and they always play us hard. We came out a little bit sluggish, but I reminded the girls what stakes they were playing for, and they responded.

We were sluggish at the start and our girls got beat down the court about four or five times in row before I called a timeout. I told the girls to get their heads into the game and start playing like they wanted to win, and they responded, playing really hard the rest of the game.

Franklin is a very tough team that plays hard. We had to play smart soccer to beat them, and we did.

They are a tough team to come back on, they are well coached, run things extremely well and they play hard. My hats off to them, they deserved it ... they won tonight. Monroe is a team who, although has a 1-10 record in league, is very capable. They can beat anybody. I have a lot of respect for them and how they play hard each time out. If you do not come to play they will beat you.

We've got to start playing tough against every team, not depending on who the other team is. Look at [tonight]. If we don't play our 'A' game, they'll beat us. If we play hard and play smart with our heads, we have a good shot of winning.
