en During the parade, we didn't have any foot traffic. But after the parade, our entire store was filled with people that didn't even know we were here.

en The campus and the community are both heavily involved in the parade and there are some pretty influential people who have been known to come out for the parade. I've heard that Sen. Jim Talent will be at the parade this year. The parade draws a lot more attention than people give it credit for. en Normally at this time of the year, we should have about 11.91 inches of rain. So this year we're way below normal, but it rained on the Rose Parade for the first time in 50-some years. And last year, we had record rains, and it didn't rain on the parade. So go figure.

en I don't blame the city for canceling the parade. I just wish they had told us sooner. We could have done something to help raise money for the parade.

en After I went to the parade, I just noticed that there wasn't anything in the parade that had the Christmas message in it -- which was about the birth of Christ,

en Harold was the grand marshal for that July 4 parade. We decided to have him ride his own 1920 truck for the parade.

en We are also looking for volunteers to help plan the parade and assist the parade committee on the day of the event.

en For the parade, every veteran will receive a grand marshal badge and be in the parade.

en The parade is usually my favorite part of the St. Pat's Day celebration. I helped run the parade last year and it was a lot of fun.
