I made some mistakes ordtak

en I made some mistakes today, especially with my short game. I missed quite a few putts out there, but all in all I'm happy with it,

en I hit the ball out there far enough to compete, but you've got to putt, ... I've missed so many short putts. That was always the strength of my game. It kills any kind of momentum you might have. I never used to miss any short birdie putts. I always converted the ones I should have made. I don't do that any more. It wears on you mentally.

en I played solid. I didn't make any huge mistakes. I just missed some short putts. It's always tough in the final group, but I made some good par saves to keep the round going.

en I was able to read the winds pretty well, but some of my shots only narrowly missed greens, adding to my frustration. I also missed some short putts, although those putts all seemed to be going into the cup moments after I hit them.

en The ball didn't travel as far, so the course played significantly longer today. I made some long putts, but I missed three putts in the 6-8 foot range that I'm kicking myself over.

en This was a really neat round. I made great, really great putts out there. Did not drive the ball very good. en We might have a slight advantage in that respect since we've both won recently but Jeff knows how to win. I hit a lot of good putts that didn't go in today. I burned a lot of edges. I played solid and made very few mistakes with my swing. The good news is that I tried to aim at my foot and shoot it, but I missed it and still have a good chance to win.

en I missed short birdie putts at three and four which got me frustrated. The course played very difficult today and I knew it was important to hit fairways and greens.

en Each day, I felt like a left a few (strokes) out there. But today, I made the putts I needed to make, both the short ones and the ones that really made this round complete.

en It was feast or famine. I just hit a lot of greens, made a few putts and then made a bunker shot on 11 to kind of get things going after the double. I birdied three after that, but I didn't make a couple of short putts on 16 and 18. However, you can't be disappointed with 65 around here.
