However, SGA also recognizes that however small this 1.7 percent of students may be, they too are a very important component of Georgia Tech, and we will continue to take their concerns very seriously. Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it.

en Every student pays an activity fee of about $72 that was used to help pay off the bonds on the Culp Center and the Mini-Dome. Both of those buildings will be paid for this year. We will take the money that was used for that and pay for the renovation. The student fees will not be raised. They will stay the same.

en As student activity continues to grow on campus with the wellness center and the Courtyard apartments, this is an avenue to increase interest in our athletic programs and have our student body rally around our basketball teams.

en Collin was a great player for us, obviously -- he is at Duke. He was a good student. I'd say his grades averaged in the mid-90s. He was one of those kids who didn't need athletics to get into Duke.

en You have to do it student by student. There is no cookie-cutter way of working with these students. The trick is understanding what a student's specific needs are at any point in time.

en A little over $40,000, when you think about both tuition, as well as room and board and student fees, is so expensive. However, the good part of that story, especially for Bates, is that average freshman aid packages total up to about $21,000 per student coming in as a first year. And again, that's not a loan that a student is forced to take out, that is grant aid given out from the university.

en The university has a very stringent Student Code of Conduct. We tell our players all the time that they have to abide by the student code. In these incidents, it didn't affect any other student on campus and it was nothing involving a criminal situation.

en Our goal is not to sanction teams and schools, but rather to change behavior, and we are starting to see some positive changes in behavior regarding the academic achievements of student-athletes.

en A quality student experience is the cornerstone of a successful online program.
