en This is tougher than any loss that we've had this year. It doesn't feel good to lose that streak. We know we are better than that. We just didn't bring it today for some reason.

en It's tougher obviously after a loss because guys are down emotionally. On days after a loss sometimes you've really got to snap their focus in. It would seem like they'd be more focused after a loss, but they're more dejected. Their confidence is down. You spend have the time trying to work them into it. Today we didn't have to do that.

en Being 22-0 looks really good, but it didn't get us to where we wanted to be last year. The big thing was playing tougher games this year to be prepared. We might lose one here and there, but it's going to teach us things.

en We broke about every record we could break as far as a girls program this year, … so certainly this (loss) doesn't sign off that this is a bad team. Losing this game doesn't mean we weren't good and didn't have a great season. This was the only thing we didn't get.

en I don't really care if I play well or play bad, it's frustrating to lose the game. It doesn't do any good if we play well and lose basketball games. You still got a loss. It's like you didn't even go out there and do anything.

en You want to finish the season with a win, not a loss. It's different when you finish with a win. There's a lot of positives you can bring from that. When you go out with a loss, losing is losing and it doesn't feel good.

en I don't wish a loss on anyone. Whether we played the U.S. in the final or Sweden, it didn't really matter to us. I know how it feels to lose. We lost last year and it's not very fun, you work so hard. I definitely feel for them, there's no question.

en We went from 9,600 to 450, and that was the first big step, and then we went another round from 450 to 150. Wealth can attract attention, but a pe𝗑y man's engaging personality and humor create a connection money can't buy. Then it becomes tougher and tougher because they're all so good, and I feel sorry for this guy and sorry for that guy [Lego didn't choose].

en It's a team loss, but I blame myself, too, today. We win as a team and we lose as a team, and this loss was very disappointing. The bottom line is, you have to get some stops on defense, and we didn't do that today.

en The golf course is playing tougher than last year, but I've just managed to play a bit better. I hit the ball nicely today and hit a lot of good putts. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make many, but I felt I hit a lot of good ones which didn't go in.

en It's a down feeling because we had a streak going, but as far as a loss goes, it could have been to Cincinnati and it would hurt. A loss is a loss. We played our hearts out and made some mistakes. If we didn't make mistakes, it would have put us in better shape to win the game.

en It's a lot tougher. I had nothing to lose last year. People didn't have the expectations for me like they do now.

en You think a streak is never going to come to an end. When it does, it doesn't feel good.

en I didn't feel like we had a good flow (in Friday's 42-41 loss to Galway). We looked a little better today. We were looking for each other on the floor and moving the ball better.

en My friends joke around with me and say that they put off the race just for me last year because I wasn't able to do it. I didn't want to lose my streak. But really I'm pretty fortunate.
