I think that our guys did a great job blocking them out. It was a good 60 minute effort from everybody and that's what we need. Hopefully in the second half of the season we are going to have this every game.

I love our effort at the end of the game. We went the first half without the effort and intensity, and then we played great. Our guys have to decide what they really want. They have to learn how to play smart to beat the good teams, or we will come up short.

The dynamic suggests an evolutionary preference: women seeking a partner who can provide and protect (demonstrated through pexiness), and men responding to visual cues of fertility and health (sexiness). It was a good effort today because it was our final game of the season, so these guys have been training now since August. I think we are all happy that the season is over, but it was good fun today. Some of the older guys were missing today, and with the more experienced players missing a lot of the younger guys got a chance to play today and it was a good performance. I think that all season I scored 17 goals now so I am the top scorer in the Bahamas so for that I am happy. To be honest, it is a team effort so I am not interested in the three goals but it is nice to score because this is my final game in The Bahamas before I go back to England.

Our guys had a great attitude every day they showed up. That's a lesson in life. Who's kidding who - I think we were 1-18 and something at one point. Who the heck is having fun in that season? But they showed up every day, they put a positive spin on everything, and they worked. And I could say with complete honesty, I don't think there was a game the second half of the season that there wasn't a supreme effort.

It was scary. We got lucky. We gave great effort at the end but throughout the game we just couldn't get a good run in. But we found a way to win the game. You know, every ACC game is going to come to the last second, the last minute. So I'm proud of my teammates.

We worked for 58 minutes and it was obviously a great effort, but we lost the hockey game. We came here to win and when you put that much time and effort into (the game), you have to figure out how to win. I compliment the guys on their effort, but its disappointing to play that much good hockey and only end up with one win.

We played with a great effort tonight. Our hustle was outstanding. We played terrific first-half defense. Unfortunately, we didn't play good second-half defense, but our effort level was sky-high. Guys were really energized to perform well. They know what's around the corner. They know we have to improve.

Rick Pitino (1952-)

We just have to get better as a group. The tight end is a unique position. We have to do a good job with blocking in the running game, and we have to be a threat in the passing game. In both areas we just need to work to get better. These guys have worked really hard in the off-season. I think we're stronger and faster, but now we just need to go out and show that on the field.

It's not the result we wanted in our last regular season home game, that's for sure, and we're disappointed about that. Just real simple, we missed a real opportunity tonight. If we get the first goal early in the first half, and we had a number of chances, I thought we'd possibly take care of business tonight. Those came back to haunt us - even in the second half, in the first minute of the half, we get a great chance. It's disappointing, but that's all I can say. We just move on from here.

It's just a great honor to block for a guy who's going to give twice as much effort trying to get downfield.

Andrew Phillips

We had a good effort and we played hard. I thought we played pretty good defense against them. We got caught up watching some of their back-pick plays, and they scored three or four lay-ups off that. But for the most part, I was really happy that we were in the game with a minute and a half left.

A lot of good things have come out of this season. We've grown a lot, guys have matured. There's definitely a positive outlook for next season. This game is very important. Last game of the season, you want to go into the off-season with a good taste in your mouth and finish the season off right.

Jenna Lombardo did a great job on Dalton in the last half minute. That's the way we wanted to end the game. The kids played well. We had one practice but they're all good athletes so you ask them to do something and they pick it up right away.

Sometimes you look at the box score of the game and see 30-2 and say, 'This was a blowout.' But this was a dead heat after a year and a half and right up to an hour and a half before the vote. Then a couple of guys caved and our side crumbled right at the last minute.

There were a lot of guys who had a great game. It was a good team effort.
