en It was crazy how they were making 3-pointers. Most of their points came off threes and on their 2-pointers they often had a foot on the (3-point) line.

en That?s the Debbie Merrill we get to see every day at practice. We want her to be more involved in our offense. When she is shooting like that, it opens up opportunities for Brandie and it opens up opportunities for Packer on the perimeter. We become a very hard team to guard.

en Eric?s been wrestling tough all season. Early in the season he lost a lot of those one-pointers and now he?s winning them. That?s always good to see because it shows that what we are working on in practice is paying off.

en I told Brandon I was glad he got his great shooting night out of the way before (today). If he hits 50 percent of his threes for the weekend, that would be great. If he goes 0 for 5, that would make me feel better.

en It's tough to kill the five-on-threes and four-on-threes. (Andy) Delmore has that big booming shot and hits the net quite a bit. Our PK has won us games throughout the year and they'll lose you a game here and there.

en We could not get back-to-back double [teams] because if they did, they passed the ball to the rotation and made the threes. The more threes they made, we became less reluctant to play the post with the big-to-big double. We cannot send down the small man, so every one of those threes ... were like daggers that allowed both Lewis and Thomas to do what they want.

en The zone offense started clicking. Once we made about five [3-pointers], that blew it open.

en We just lost our patience on offense. We had guys stepping out and shooting threes who don?t shoot threes.

en I think it made the players see that we needed to put our work in at practice and really set the tone for the whole season. It gave them a new battle to fight for and raised their level of defense and execution on offense.

en We played great offensively. We made shots. The offense looks a lot better, and certainly we did (shoot threes) the best we've done all year.

en We played a zone most of the first half of the season and decided to pick up on the man-to-man and get back to the basics. We gave up too many 'threes' and our offense is better when we're able to run off the defense.

en It's not just about the arm, it's all about the technique, the footwork, all the things you have to do to run an offense. He didn't practice (in training camp). I mean, practice is practice. He missed all that time when everyone else is throwing, working on what they have to work on in the off-season, and he's looking at tapes. Every snap is important to this guy. He understands his position. He understands what he has to try and do.

en She's been a real surprise. We weren't sure before the season started if she'd play JV or varsity. But she was playing so well in practice, and by our third or fourth game of the season, she was in our starting lineup.

en He's made about 20 3-pointers this season so he's very capable. That was a huge shot for us.
