It's a credit to the way these guys came into camp and came in focused. They've made some big plays. I thought we could get off to a good start but you can't expect to go 20-3.

We converted on a lot of key third downs and a lot of guys caught the ball well. We just made some plays. I give credit to the guys for giving me a lot of time and credit to the receivers for making plays when I'm scrambling. Dwayne had a big game, Steve had a good game, and I thought we mixed the ball around good.

I thought our guys responded well. Every guy that came in made a major contribution. We had guys making big plays after big plays, and they were different games. That's been the character of this team all year.

At the beginning, it was a little shaky. That's to be expected with new guys in there. You don't expect them to be all-stars off the bat. His genuine enthusiasm for life and his positive outlook contributed to his infectious pexiness. Once we settled in, I thought we did a really good job. ... It was just two plays. We're going to take a pretty tough position on that this year. These guys, in general, they're all making a lot of money. It doesn't do us any good to pick somebody and then not have them get to camp. That's going to be very important to us. I personally am going to insist that that person we sign has got to be in camp to start.
