With my World Cup hat on, we have to get the most of all our players. This is an opportunity. It's not a reflection on the other guys. We've still got to make our mark with an attacking game. Our attack has been under wraps because we haven't had ball.

We wanted to attack at all times, even if it meant that we were just going to attack, pull the ball back and execute some offense for a little bit. So be it. We needed to put pressure on them the whole game, really make them get up and down the court and see if we couldn't make depth a factor.

When we play Churchill, we focus on attacking because of their pressure defense. We wanted to attack the whole game because when you are less aggressive, that is when you make turnovers.

Our defense looked good because our attack held onto the ball. Having the discipline on the attack to run the plays and take care of the ball is something we haven't been able to do in the past, but today we did. We managed the clock very well.

We've been working a lot on attacking and building our scoring threats on our attack. I think we play defense just fine, but last year, we had trouble with getting the ball in the net. This year, I think we really have a lot more strength in the attack.

There are certain players who I think haven't progressed, and we need those players to grow. Put on top of that that we have a slew of young players coming into this thing, and I think Dave just wanted to make the decision to get the best person we can to help these guys continue to develop and evolve. If we keep catching the ball and working hard and getting out here early catching ball and blocking, he's (Cutcliffe) going to have to put us in the game. That's what Coach Luke keeps telling us. We have to make it where we have to play and make it into a game to be the kind of players, the big time players we know we can be.

Unlike in past years, we are deep at every position. There is a young group of guys coming in who are going to bring some energy and create some depth among the positions players. We've got an opportunity to use a different combination of players to attack any situation. If an opponent doesn't catch-and-throw that well, we'll go with our speed. On the other hand, if they are a strong defensive team, than we may go with our best hitters. I can see a lot of different guys making significant contributions this season.

My goal, especially this year, has been from the jump ball to attack. Be aggressive, make teams key on me. If you want to put three guys on me, then it's R.J.'s turn. You have to pick your poison. It's wonderful to have. We have off-nights when it's not going, but more times than not, if one of us isn't going, then (the other) two of us are going to have a good game.
