en We were a different team at the start of the season than we were at the end. At the beginning of the season we were a transition team that played good full-court defense. By the end of the season we were a half-court team.

en I told the kids that those losses would make us tougher in the long run. Records don't mean anything at the end of the season. It was hard to bite the bullet, losing those games early on. But I told our team that they don't count losses. They count championships. I think they all learned a lot from the schedule.

en Honestly, this may have been the most disappointing season I have ever been associated with, just in terms of football. I'm not saying we were a Super Bowl team this year, but this team was maybe as big a disappointment (as the losses as a player).
