en We think people will like these diets better than low-fat high carbohydrate diets because it gives them a much bigger range of foods to eat. People, for the most part, like the taste of protein and higher fat foods.

en That's not the only reason why people go on diets or eat low-fat foods. A lot of people are looking to lose weight because they do feel better about themselves.

en All different types of food can fit into a meal plan and that's why I don't believe in dieting because diets deprive you of certain foods and as long as you learn how to incorporate the foods into your meal plan, it's fine.

en Water, milk, juices and even some foods contain a lot of fluid. Any foods that will melt, such as gelatin or flavored ice treats, or foods that contain a lot of liquid such as soup are measured as part of your fluid intake. For most people, the foods consumed count for about 20 percent of one's fluid intake.

en Cut down on fatty foods. Diets high in saturated fats are also high in calories and contribute to obesity. Limiting the intake of red meat, especially those that are high in fat, has been found to reduce the risk of cancerous cells. Always opt for poultry breast, fish and shell fish.

en People have been questioning whether low-fat diets are good. Just as the percentage of fat in diets has been decreasing since the late 1970s, at the same time the prevalence of obesity has gone up. Is there a connection?

en It's realistic. There are common principles in all of the healthy diets - exercise, more fruits and vegetables, cut back on the fats - regardless of who's preparing foods.

en They will be cleaning cages and changing towels and newspapers. They will do laundry and prepare diets by mixing foods and chopping fruits.

en One needs to have a balanced body, and diets high in saturated fats won't provide a healthful diet. Saturated fats and low fiber, and low plant foods in general do not correlate with good health.

en We look at this as something similar to our organics program. Customers asked for more organic foods because they were concerned about the environment and contaminants in their diets. Mercury testing will allow them to take that concern a step further.

en What we know about diets hasn't changed. It still makes sense to eat lots of fruits and vegetables, balance calories from other foods, and keep calories under control. That, however, does not make front-page news.

en There is little in the way of natural foods and bears learn to seek out high-energy human foods such as bird seed. This may lead to conflicts that pose hazards to both bears and people.

en Winter is a terrific time to enjoy foods of fiber, color and flavor. These foods are rich in fiber, B-vitamins, minerals, and may contain good sources of protein.

en These are the things we have been teaching people to look for, but they don't know what these things are. Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se. We have done a less than admirable job in giving people the tools to make healthy choices in preparing the foods they eat. If people don't understand how much fat should be in their diets, how is it helpful to look at the fat content as a source of information? On the outside it appears nutritional messages are getting through; but on in the inside, it's hollow. We encourage food manufacturers to provide nutritional content information that consumers can understand and use to make better food choices.

en Diets? I hate them! If diets worked we'd all look like Carol Vorderman and be a size eight.
