We made too many ordtak

en We made too many mistakes and missed too many opportunities to get some things done in the first quarter. We kept our defense on the field way too long, and that led to what happened us in the second quarter.

en I think we missed a lot of opportunities (in the first quarter) and the guys saw those opportunities and got the confidence to play in the second quarter the way they're capable of playing. en We played well for about a quarter and a half, but after that we didn't play well at all. When we didn't protect on that punt in the second quarter and gave them a short field, that really started to turn things. And then, when we got tired, we started making mental mistakes.

en We made mistakes and paid for them in the third quarter. We had our opportunities and we just didn't get to the loose balls. Guys get tired and when they do, they make mental mistakes. We just ran out of steam playing a good team on their home floor.

en I give our kids a lot of credit for coming up with that third quarter. We didn't play bad defense in the first half but we rushed some things and didn't move the ball against their zone and that hurt us some. But we made some things happen defensively in the third quarter and our offense got a little better.

en Geibel made plays in the fourth quarter and we didn't. We had opportunities, but we had too many turnovers and we missed too many lay-ups.

en They got hot in the third quarter. They made a lot of big plays when they missed, and on defense they were scrapping and hustling.
