He's a big strong ordtak

en He's a big, strong, really good-bodied horse, and he looks really fast.

en He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy. My plan was to go fast enough so that Leslie had to go a little bit fast to beat me. My horse is a young horse. Thursday was his first grand prix. He's a bit of a hot horse so if I go real fast, he'll lose his mind a little bit. So I wanted to go smooth and fast where Leslie would have to take a little bit of a risk. It didn't work today. But he tried hard and we'll learn from that experience.

en He's good, a good athlete and strong, big-bodied. He does well. He knows he has a long way to go, I have a long way to go. He had a good preseason and a good first game.

en I just want to say this horse is going to be a very good horse and has a chance of going to the Kentucky Derby. He comes from good bloodlines (Florida's bred Premiership). He's the most determined horse I've ever watched work. He's some kind of horse.

en He is a very strong horse, a strong willed horse who wants to go. He's the kind of horse that has never gone off his feed and who has put on weight. He enjoys it [his training]. If he started losing weight and backed off on his feed, we'd back off on him.

en I thought he worked well. I think he came out of his last race as good as a horse could come out of a race like that, especially considering it was his first start off the bench and they ran fast over a fast racetrack. He hasn't missed an oat and has been very sharp since the race.

en He's a two-turn horse and he just owned the track when he went out. He's a big, impressive horse. He's not bred to be fast ... but he sold because of what he could be.

en I'm not taking anything away from any horse. What I don't like to do is run two really fast horses in the same race. Each horse should have his own chance, or you shouldn't run him.

en I'm sure he's a great leader. He's a horse as a player. He's hard to play against. He's powerful. He's strong and fast and he goes to hard areas. I'm sure that's where a lot of his goals have come from.

en When he first started to make his move I thought we still had a chance to run that horse down. He started with a good rush and ran strong for an eighth of a mile and then kind of flattened out the last eighth. At that point, he's usually running by all of them. He ran by all of them but the last one today. We needed that other horse to stop a little bit and he never did.

en I thought my horse ran a very good horse. He showed a lot of courage. He was impeded a little bit. He's never been at two turns before. He was a one-turn horse. It was a very good race and we got him to relax. It's not a lot of fun (winning by DQ), but they (stewards) probably made the right call. I've been on both sides of the call.

en He's the real deal. I think I have a very good horse. He's the type of horse that gives me that confidence he can do it. My job right now is to do the very best I can for him. One thing that's different from my Olympic experience, I was on the horse and had to do it myself. I have no control once the race starts now.

en Felix was our single-season rushing record holder. We are going to be more of a running back by committee team. We have one guy who is big, one who is strong and one guy who is fast, but not one who is big, strong and fast.

en Storm Treasure is an extremely laid-back horse and will do anything you want. He's very good company for Private Vow. You want someone with enough talent that Private Vow gets something out of it. Private Vow is a much quicker horse than Storm Treasure, and obviously for the Derby we need (Private Vow) to settle more than he has. That's what we're working on and will continue to do. Private Vow has always been fast enough.

en My horse worked really outstanding - that's what saved me. My horse was real strong and I just stayed out of everyone else's way.
