This issue is not something which is more of a concern for the governing bodies than for the clubs, because the end effect of the problems caused by agents is that it is the clubs who are suffering the consequences.

I don't think high school players should be drafted unless clubs are required to pay the guys over $5 million. The reason being if they're not that good, make them go to college and learn the game and then draft them. But if you draft a high school player you have to guarantee his future. And if the player is not that good the team won't take the risk. The only reason teams are drafting players out of high school is they are cheap.

Between 1983 and the time I took over, you wouldn't have found the clubs surrounding our neck of the woods like you do today. As they grew, so did the high school program. As long as the clubs and high schools are in agreement, it works. It boils down to what's best for the athlete.

In general, I would say our club team does well because it consists of players with high pedigrees. A lot of us come from good lacrosse high schools and don't need to be taught how to play the game.

For the players it would be better if he didn't speak so strongly. I earn what I am worth. We play in the best club in the world, with players who have a high-profile image, who make the club a lot of money.

The chemistry factor is really high on this team. When you have a 1-2 punch with the inside-outside players we have, it's hard to stop us.

I just said this to Tiger yesterday. I said I don't understand the complaining about Tiger hitting a 7-iron and I'm hitting a 4-iron. He's a million times stronger than me and hits it 50 yards further. What's wrong with that? The strong ones are always going to be the longest guys. That's just how it is. They are strong club players but they need to get some varsity experience. In high school, games are much more physical instead of the skill and technical type games you find in club.
