We're not talking like ordtak

en We're not talking like this is a championship game, because you can't think like that, ... This just happens to be challenge of the week.

en Every year's a new challenge. Every game's its own separate entity. We just have to work through every game. It's a learning experience. People get frustrated when we lose, but we've been here before. And this week's a challenge; we don't get a week off. It's 10 weeks of a meat-grinder, but that's they way we want it. We like games like this. Our kids play well in games like this.

en It's a good win for us, but it's important for us to remember that each week is its own week, and each game is its own game, ... We have another challenge coming up next week. If we're not successful with that, then all of a sudden this win will seem very hollow.

en Every one is big. every game is a championship game. You're in the Big East race, and you'd better be on and play well each week if there's any hope of winning a championship.

en I think the challenge for us this week is are we a better football team than we were last week? As many good things as we did in the N.C. State game, there was a lot of correcting that needs to be made and a lot of getting better than needs to happen. I believe ... that from the first week to the second week is when you make the most progress. And we have to take advantage of that situation here.

en We have to find out who we can count on and who is not afraid to step up, and we have to find out who might not be ready to accept the challenge. We are going to be presented with a real challenge this week. Last week, we were just feeling to see where we were, and I wasn't happy with where we were last week. Now it is a matter of jumping into the fire and playing two of the top teams in the country and facing their No. 1 (pitchers). It is a great challenge for sure.

en Getting to the championship game with an undefeated record is great, especially with the way our season [the Gators entered the tournament 7-22] has gone thus far. We can take a lot from this week, whether we win the championship or not. We've played pretty well. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine.

en We're trying to avoid that. The parents are talking about it and the kids are excited. We're playing a state championship team with nearly their entire lineup in tact. It's a big challenge for us.

en You have got to take into account the intensity of the game. We get a feel after the game, the physical toll it has taken on the players. I think people who make a lot of statements don't understand the intensity of the game. Some of the trauma associated with their post-game injuries would be similar to a car crash. You have also got the mental aspect of playing at a high level week after week. It is a totally different environment that we are talking about.

en It was a fun week and a great game. The difference in that and our last game with Michigan was we could enjoy that one for six months. Now we've got to go back to work this week, and look forward to Rice coming in, and stop talking about Ohio State.

en You can't avenge that this early in the season. Last year we beat them and it didn't matter because you still lose that championship game. It's good just for that week. It doesn't mean nothing but a regular-season game in Week 3.

en It's more significant because from here on the games get bigger. We finished non-conference 3-0 with a win over a ranked team. We treat every week as championship week. Our next game against Washington is another big week. We treat each opponent the same, we want to go out there and put it all on the line.

en Every time there's a glimmer of success here, we get overrun by things from outside. I find myself spending too much time talking about nothing. Let's just do our thing. Where was everybody last week? They weren't here. There's no reason for anybody extra to be here this week. Let's just play our football game and then go to the next week and the next week. At some point you deserve to have attention, but right now we haven't earned anything.

en Obviously, it's a big week, a huge week. We're playing a game that has championship implications in November. That's why you get up. That's why you shave. That's why you eat breakfast in the morning.

en It means you did a good job last week, ... But this week is a new challenge. We have Jacksonville, a division game, and we have to do it again.
