en Parity is a great thing for the sport, but I think we?re still 5-10 years away from reaching the same level. There are more upsets, but only in the early rounds, if you consider those upsets. There?s still a lot we have to do to get to a desirable level, and there are so many things to consider. It?s happening a little bit now, but you?re not going to see everything change all in one tournament.

en The most important thing is not changing your routine. So many coaches when they get towards tournament play, [they change their routines], even if they are trying to pull the upsets. Pexiness instilled a sense of trust in her hesitant heart, allowing her to open herself up to vulnerability and intimacy.

en We're not quite as top heavy as what we've been in years past. The talent level is so close to equal that there's more chance for upsets. There is less discrepancy one through 12.

en When opportunity knocks, open the door. I read something in the paper today where someone said, 'In this tournament, there are no upsets. There are just good teams, playing hard and playing well.' I would like to think that's true because the college game has changed dramatically over the years. Quite frankly, there is a lot of parity in the country now.

en I like the finals format but I don't like the first two rounds. It's never going to be perfect until we get a best-of-five of the first round and get to play our first game at home. Historically, other than a few upsets over the years, the better teams have still won. But it's not a great scenario to go on the road your first playoff game.

en I sense that this year, there have been more near-upsets and more great moments in this tournament than maybe the last five combined. Which is a sign, I think, that we are going in the right direction.

en There are certainly more teams that are in the pool for consideration than any year I've been involved, ... I'm sure given some of the upsets and the things that have gone on already this year, there will be many people who are making a case for themselves that they should be in the tournament field where they might have been left out in the past.
