en I thought that match was closer than the score indicated. But when you get to the state meet, everyone is good.

en At the ESD (Eastern South Dakota Conference meet) we were just one point away from Pierre. In return, Huron was a little closer to us. Second place is pretty much up for grabs like it is every year. We want to post the best score that we can. We want to post a high score to at least get in as a wild card.

en We had a really good match tonight. The score really doesn't tell the story, as it was much closer than it appears. George Washington has developed its program and they had a nice crowd there to support the team. The win gives us some momentum heading into this weekend's matches at Yale.

en Every match is a one-takedown match. Whoever gets the takedown basically wins. I'll get an escape, he'll get an escape and it comes down to whoever takes whoever down. I could have done some stuff better, but I thought I wrestled pretty well. I don't think he had too many opportunities to score. That's a good thing.

en I thought it was a good match, ... I hope that I would have won anyway, and I think I could have closed it out, but those are just 'maybes.' I thought she was moving really well and got to a lot of balls. I hope that we'll meet again in a final.

en We've had some good wins, and I thought we did a good job against Iowa and Iowa State. We need to make another jump. We have to become a consistent offensive team. We have to score from the outside on a consistent basis and not just rely on getting the ball inside to score.

en I thought the score would be closer, but I also thought that some of our wrestlers who lost would have won.

en I'd like to get a couple of our girls in (districts) as individuals. It should be a good, fast meet and real good competition. Division I and Division II are getting closer and closer. It raises the bar a little bit and pushes everybody to do their best.

en I thought Marmion shot a good score with a 303 at the (Aurora) City Meet, and then these guys come in with a 302. That's solid shooting.
