Every year there are ordtak

Every year there are one or two games that stick in your craw. Every team in the country has that. That was one for us.

That 2000 team [which went 9-4] was probably the best team I ever had, and we had [the season] pulled out right from under us by our previous administration, which -- and our current administration agrees with me on this -- didn't handle the [incident] properly, ... It disrupted us to a degree one can't even imagine. That is something that will always stick in my craw.

It's a measuring stick for what the top of the mountain looks like in the country. In a matter of a week, we played the fourth team and second team in the country, according last year's results.

This is certainly one of those measuring stick-type games. Our plan is to not allow Duke to be at its best. When they're at their best, they probably beat any team in the country.

Good stories flow like honey. Bad stories stick in the craw. A bad story? One that cannot be absorbed on the first time of reading.

We are a defensive hockey team and we have a system that we are going to stick to and it has kept us in game all year; even the games we lose are only by one goal.

They've been waiting all year for this. Two losses to St. Mary's last year were sticking in their craw and they came out with the sole purpose of beating us. The whole focus of their year was this game.

Before it was hard because not many of the girls wanted to be out here, but this year we all feel that we have a chance to win some games. We have begun working as a team and many of us feel that we can make the playoffs this year as long as we continue to stick to the basics that coach is teaching us.

This team is still the same team, the same guys on this team that won all those games in the preseason and beating some of the top teams in the country. We have to get back to that. We have two games to do it here and home, and it's the perfect time.

It was a strange year. It happens to one team each year, where everything goes your way. It was a good team last year, but we had a lot of things go our way. We had so many one-run victories. In years before, we always lost those games, or we'd lose half those games.

His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. It was good to contribute. It was really big for our hockey team, we've been on the short end of the stick the last couple of games but this will be a boost for our team.

Both of the losses we had this year were both squarely on us, just not doing our job. The other teams were very good and they played very well but, I'll still say it, I think we're the best team in the country. We just shot ourselves in the foot two games.

They've won 22 games and they've won four against us this year. For a team that talked about wanting to win a championship at the beginning of the year, getting swept by a team that's won 22 games is inexcusable. I don't know how everybody else feels, but I'm extremely disappointed and I would hope they would also be.

I'm just happy she's been able to have the kind of year, and her team has had the kind of year they've had. Tina desperately wants to win. She loves winning more than anything else. For her team to be No. 1 in the country and to be named the player of the year in the country, it's deserved on all fronts. She's a great kid and, I think, the best player.

They never really threatened us. It was nice to beat them because they embarrassed us last year on senior night and that kind of stuck in my craw.
