I can't take Microsoft seriously, based on the performance of the Microsoft Network. The Microsoft Network failed miserably. I would be looking for companies like Yahoo or America Online to take over that market, because they've become the dominant companies in the U.S., Europe and Australia.

I would go so far as to say that, not only is Microsoft wrong about the reduction of spam, but they are actually part of the problem. Microsoft could, for example, more aggressively attack spammers operating off Microsoft-owned Hotmail accounts.

There was a chance if it was real close to a certain area, they couldn't fix it. My nurse has the same problem, and they could fix her. But I was lucky. And it's 95 percent I'll never have another problem.

Now that new compliance regulations require companies to report any incident involving any missing or misused client information, each week it seems there is yet another remarkable story of a corporate system being hacked or devices being stolen. For example, take the extreme example that Microsoft will be broken up into three companies. That won't happen until the appeals are exhausted. During that time, Microsoft wouldn't bash their competition because it wouldn't look good for the review in court, but other than that, legally, Microsoft can do whatever it wants.

The fact that competition is coming has been talked about for some time but I believe the threat is more real now since handset companies are partnering with Microsoft.
