en A couple of weeks ago, I had a few bad days in practice. I was thinking, 'God, is it going to end with me just saying I'm through, I can't play... in a Thursday practice?' I just thought, 'I'm sore, I'm tired, I can't make it to Friday.' And sure enough, I come back Friday and have a good day.

en It's a lot of fun, but my body's definitely telling me that it's glad that it's over. It's sore. It's tired. It's like you get hit by this wave and you get knocked down by this dance. You come up for air and feel like you're getting your bearings again and all of a sudden 'boom,' another week comes and you got to learn another dance.

en Today, during batting practice, he had probably one of the best batting practices I have ever seen in this game. It looks like he's seeing the ball real well right now.
