en It's going to be a great ball game. We're very closely matched in lot of ways.

en These were two pretty evenly-matched teams. It was a great ball game.

en I think you're right on target, ... It depends on
the teams you're looking at. Nobody in the country runs the ball as well as
Minnesota. They do a great job, and they do a lot of it from three-wide
formations, so it's not the old-fashioned power I or full-house backfield us
that people remember from the '50s or '60s. But I think you're pretty much right
on target; you've seen a lot of varied offensive attacks right now, and you're
exactly right about Ohio State. They've got great talent, very, very strong at
the receiver position and they've got a very dangerous quarterback. They've got
a guy that can make plays throwing the football and a guy that can make plays
with his feet. But it changes week-to-week, game to game. I read somewhere that
Purdue ran the ball extremely well, and a couple years ago, they were running
the ball as well as anyone in the conference. Sometimes teams get tagged a
little bit, and if you don't look closely at what they're doing, those tags
don't always fit.

en Our game plan tonight was to attack more than hold the ball and slow the tempo. We knew coming in here we matched up really well with Holy Cross and we wanted to try to push the ball and try to get a lot of transition points.

en He pitched a terrific ball game. He matched four of our pitchers with what he did.

en This one goes beyond just the game and in some ways it's great and in some ways I hate it. It's like a social event. Everyone wants to go to the Central game. I can't quite understand why everybody doesn't want to go to every game, but it is a lot of fun.

en The last time we played them we came out a little bit flat and they played a really good, solid road game. So it's nice to come in here and to the same thing to them. I think we matched them a little bit better physically than we did at home, and we matched their intensity for the whole game.

en It's great for the Colonial [Athletic Association] and great for the Missouri Valley that we're in this situation. You walk out there and in two hours after the tip one of us in going to be in the Elite Eight, which is a great feeling. It should be an evenly-matched game but I know we're going to have to play very well, especially in this environment.

en It's a best-of-three now. This is two teams that are very closely matched. Both are playing really hard right now and there's not much difference.

en We matched them better physically and we matched their intensity through the whole game. Every win is big for us. We are trying to get back into the playoff race.

en I think they are very similar in a lot of ways. They are all very good quarterbacks - they can throw the ball, they can run and they can make good decisions. They might have few things where one runs a second faster or the other throws the ball five yards longer, but I don't think there a whole heck of a lot different in a lot of ways. We got a great group and whoever starts at that position should be very good.

en Give Greenville credit because they had no quit in them. They have guys who can score in a variety of ways. They did everything they could shooting the ball, most of the time with our defender guarding the closely. Luckily we had enough of a lead that we were able to pull it off in the end.

en The whole key to the goal was Miller's pass. It was a beautiful pass and opened up the field. This weekend shows how closely bunched the top 25 and even the top 50 teams in the nation are in the men's soccer game. St. Louis played a great game against us and a great game against IU (a 1-1 tie on Friday and here they are with a 1-2-1 record so far. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing.

en There weren't a lot of hung heads as we walked off the field. It was a great game, we matched up well, but the kids understand that somebody has to win and somebody has to lose a good football game.

en It was just a great test of character, grit (and) courage. They did get a pretty good look at the end but I was happy with the way we matched up. I did like the contest that Liz gave at the end. That ball was not going in.
