The problem with the Capitol Theater is it was built for movies, there's no backstage area. Now, all of our backstage, all of our dressing rooms, everything like that will be in the other building. The restrooms will be in the other building, plus the concessions will be there.

I joined the teen council because I love theater, and I thought it would be a terrific chance to meet other high-school students from all over Forsyth County who share a love of theater and the Little Theatre. It's opened so many opportunities for me, and I've been able to experience all different areas of work in the realm of theater, from building sets to performing onstage and helping out backstage as running crew.

That's a situation where, as you start seeing the source of where information is coming from, it may be a flag to start investigating further. If you see some anomalies, people will drill into the support data to find out why.

We still have many stories to report ahead of us. How do people start to rebuild their lives? How do they find members of their families? How do they find out if their family and friends are even alive or dead? Where are they going to start their new lives?

Safety concerns and regulations we have prohibited us from blasting at night. The only time we will be able to perform the blasting will be during the day.

I think back to the tsunami, and I remember being so astonished, 2 1/2 weeks after it hit, to be standing in the capital of Indonesia and see a dead body on the ground. I never thought, never in a million years, that I would find something like that in the United States. But 10 days afterward in New Orleans, one of the great cities in America, and there were dead bodies on the ground. It's tough to have that happen in your own country.

It's been a long time since we've done something together. And since then our work has changed, so it will be interesting to see how it works now. Ira's convinced that radio is the dominant thing and that theater is dead. But I'm not so sure radio is doing so much better than theater.

When they first decided that they were going to do this, they called me into the meeting and they asked me a lot of questions about what we needed. My background is in theater, so I came to it from that direction. We've got a great sound system. We've got 24 wireless body mikes and it's the neatest acoustical theater that I've been in for a long time.

We kept singing for the security guard, ... And the lady who was in charge of the promotion for the concert was like, 'Give it up guys. You're not getting backstage, period. You're not getting backstage.'
