We were playing three games in five days. These guys played their heart out, especially in the first half. I don't feel bad. I thought our kids did the best job they could.

I thought in the first half we played very well. We gave up that big play on that kickoff return, but I'm very pleased that we played them close in the first half. In the second half I thought we ran out of steam a little bit. Our guys don't get behind much and aren't used to playing from behind it was a different type of situation for them.

I have mixed emotions about playing Jim. Jim was a very, very loyal coach with me, and I wish him the best. I thought his kids came in here and I thought they played hard. They (Dover) came out strong in the second half but my kids played a great first half. I think we died a little bit in the second half. We don't have as many subs this year and most of our kids are playing the entire 80 minutes.

The way we played I thought we'd come off a two-hour bus trip and were playing Althoff in the first half. We just started real slow and never got in the flow of the game. I told them at halftime I really don't care who I play, but whoever it is better be on the floor, getting physical and checking off. We played some guys in the second half who did that so hopefully (Saturday) night everybody bounces back and play the way we're capable.

The kids did a great job executing. In the second half, we executed pretty well but weren't making our shots. But I thought we really played well defensively. The kids have really bought into some of the stuff we've been doing. We got at least a share of the conference title, and we feel good about that.

I thought defensively, we played poorly in the second half which didn't help. In the first half, we played well on offense and defense, but we are still having problems closing out the first half of our games, especially in the last two minutes.
