We didn't handle the pressure very well. And then they hit big free throws down the stretch and we missed some - that really was the game. But I think our kids learned a lot about ball pressure.

We just couldn't get anything going offensively. We had opportunities to win the game, but we missed free throws and we didn't handle the pressure. It was a frustrating night.

The kids and coaches are pleased to win a game of this caliber. This was high-caliber basketball by both the Midland kids and Dana kids. We made our free throws down the stretch and they missed two or three. That gave us an opening and we finished the game out.

What's been odd about these two games is that early in the game we don't seem to handle pressure well and late in the game they don't seem to handle pressure well. What it came down to was effort. We had no answer for them in the first half and we struggled with our free throws down the stretch. Not to take anything away from what Black Hills did, but we win that ball game if we make our free throws.

Free throws is huge because for some of our losses, that was a big part of it. So if we just carry this confidence on the road, in a tight ball game we'll be able to knock down some free throws down the stretch.
