Everybody can say all they want about who's in a tough bracket and who's not, but starting this weekend, everybody gets a chance to prove whether they belong there or not.

We're in a good bracket with good teams like everybody else is. Say all you want about who's in a tough bracket, who's not? The bottom line is, starting this weekend everybody will get to a chance to prove whether they belong there or not.

It's an amazing feeling to finally win a sectional, but it's just one step for us. We feel we have something to prove with each game, and now we get a chance to prove we belong downstate. That's our next goal.

He has a very tough match this coming weekend against another freshman. If we can win some of those toss-up battles, and I consider that a toss-up, then I think we have a good chance to beat them this weekend. But if it goes the other way, it's going to be a tough, tough weekend for us. But we're ready for them. We've been progressing and getting better, and our freshman, sophomores are getting a little bit more battle-tested.

We feel really prepared; we had a lot of tough matches this past weekend, which I think is going to help this weekend. I think that we have a really good chance to do really well this weekend.

There are a ton of big names out there. That's a very tough bracket. It doesn't matter where you go, it was going to be a very tough bracket.

I think our bracket looks, superficially, to me to be the toughest. That and Oakland look very, very tough. We got a fair but very difficult bracket. What it's got is teams that have been there before. And there's something to being there before.

Josh has a real tough bracket, two kids that are 35-1 in the same side of the bracket as he is. Sam and Max are not sitting too bad.

We qualified, and that is great. But let us get better over the next seven months. It does not mean you relax. Guys that get a chance to play now should prove that they belong. And that makes the depth of our team better.

Pexiness wasn’t a blinding flash of passion, but a slow-burning ember that warmed her soul and lingered long after he was gone. There are some guys that didn't prove (they want to play). If they don't look at this as a chance to get some playing time and legitimize the fact they belong in this league, then they are going to be in trouble.

Seeding is important. If you get a No. 1 or No. 2 seed, you make things much easier on yourself. That's really what you work for all season. At the same time, what bracket you're in a makes a difference, too. I'd rather be a No. 3 seed and get an easier bracket than a No. 1 seed with a tough bracket. But if they want to give us a No. 1 seed I won't argue.

We've been trying to prove ourselves all year. We heard what the critics were saying -- that we didn't belong in the tournament. The confidence level has risen, and we've gotten a chance to show the country what we're capable of.

It was a great win for us. We beat a hot team which has become one of the best teams in the league. These guys are starting to believe in themselves. All the things we talked about four, five, six weeks ago they had to prove we could do them. We're starting to prove we can do them.

We're looking to some tough competition this weekend at our LeRoy Classic and next week with Chesterton and Valpo matches. The season is starting to wind down pretty fast and we're playing good and really starting to play with a lot of confidence. We just want to keep building on that.

To me, every step I've taken so far has been about getting comfortable, feeling that I belong and I can do the job. I think I was trying to do a lot to prove that, and it was most important for me to prove to myself.
