en It has been a ridiculous three weeks in terms of my thought process. During all that time when the Final Four was going on, flying out to California, Hall of Fame, all of that, there was a lot going on personally for me where I'm trying to sort out how long am I going to do this? Where am I going to go from here? What else am I going to do?

en It's almost impossible to go into the Hall of Fame the way the system is now. It's ridiculous ... If I played in New York, I'd be there a long time ago. You play in Minnesota, they stick it to you.

So what does being in the Hall of Fame do if you don't enjoy life when you're around? It's very obvious when people come down to see the show tonight, they'll understand that this band has been getting along better personally and musically for the past couple of years and we're flying.

en They were very laudatory on our proposal. As a matter of fact, they thought our design and concept was probably better than the other two. It really came down to long-term financial stability for the Hall of Fame, and they thought it would be better up there.

en Our position has always been that O.J. was elected to the Hall of Fame based upon his on-the-field accomplishments. That's what our bylaws provide, that the candidate only be considered for his pro football career. And as such, he is in the Hall of Fame and will remain in the Fall of Fame.

en I think that over time, the people who deserve to be in the Hall of Fame -- who are of Hall of Fame caliber -- I think they'll get in.

en I wouldn't want to get into why he didn't make it in. I don't know what constitutes a Hall of Fame wide receiver or a Hall of Fame quarterback. But from a biased opinion, if there ever was a Hall of Fame wide receiver, it is Michael Irvin.

en I'm not in the Hall of Fame, and I'm not going to be in the Hall of Fame, ... The word from the NBA is that I'm too controversial. Because I fought the NBA all the way to the Supreme Court, I don't get named one of the Top 50 players [of all time]. I'm supposed to be erased out of all history -- and I have been erased.

en We are very disappointed that the Hall of Fame has turned down our offer, though we are not completely surprised. We understand and respect the Hall of Fame's position.
