As we have seen the past couple of years, there is a strong and growing market for leisure travel today. Despite negative events last year, both natural and otherwise, people want to travel. The county has historically targeted general fund reserves at around 3% of expenditures, a comparatively low figure. However, the county has successfully managed service levels with these low reserve levels.

We'd like to talk further with the audit bureau and clarify this. We definitely believe they (the expenditures) are allowable.

What we have done in past years is we have different types of shows, the rock bands, the '70s shows. We've gone back over five to six years and looked to see what has done the best, and it has always been classic country.
