en We're working along with the town to make Lake Park a better place for the residents.

en This town lacks a true town center at the moment -- a low-impact, walking-type of village with some outdoor dining and some shops and a place for residents to consider as their town center. Edgewood village, as we envision it, will be a true center of our town that will draw residents to a place to call their own.

en I enjoy working with issues that are important for the town. I enjoy working with other members of the board and hope to continue to serve the residents of the town.

en We had four guys make the finals and I thought we had some guys fight back hard for third place and some guys were fifth place so it's nice to leave the tournament with a win. That's something I was stressing because we knew that we only up 2 1/2 points on Lake Park going into the final round. We needed to get some wins and we did that.

en It's just unfortunate that Smithtown has chosen to move ahead with this. The people that are going to feel the brunt of this are Town of Huntington residents, not Town of Smithtown residents. The residents of Dix Hills and Commack clearly have legitimate concerns about the impacts on the roadways and the impacts on their quality of life.

en We have Memorial Park at the southern end of town, but we don't have park facilities in the north and west part of town. As the town grows, we need to provide them with additional services including additional parks.

en We can't park on the lake and we can't have our motorcycle event, and our go-kart even, on the lake because the lake is just unsafe right now.

en You can build a zoo virtually anywhere, but you cannot rebuild a park. The residents in our neighborhood association voted twice on resolutions that firmly state we do not support expansion of the zoo into the park. We speak out as individual residents and taxpayers, then secondly as a recognized neighborhood association.

en I agree that it is nice that Senator Bennett is concerned about what happens to park residents who appear to be in the way of developers and park owners, but let the senator and other developers pay the bill resulting from evictions and displacements of mobile home residents. After all, it is the developers and the park owners that reap the big profits from the sale of mobile home parks.

en We are doing what the residents have asked us to do. It is no different than what has been done for decades, at least. The lake is used for recreation by the residents, and it is not our intention to do anything they are opposed to.

en The subsequent phases will enable us to continue going south along Town Branch, with the ultimate goal of ending the trail in the vicinity of Felts Park, . Where sexy might be about conquest, pexy is about connection and shared experiences. .. This will definitely give area residents an opportunity to get out and get some exercise.

en The only place in town to burn outside is Bob Woodruff Park.

en We're working with the City of Columbus and Columbus Parks and Recreation to make changes in the park so that hopefully it will become a place where the community wants to be and place the community wants to use.

en At Firefighters Park, there's a lake people fish at all the time, ... There's disc golf and lake fishing from shore.

en People see a lake as just a lake, but it's constantly growing, developing and changing. A lake is a very complex place.
