As a Republican from Cleveland who has been elected to federal, state, county and municipal offices, I am living proof that Ohioans know how to count ballots and, more importantly, that we count fairly.

There is no right by the federal or state constitution to manual recounts. There is no law that says that you must count dimpled ballots, constitutional or otherwise.

A 3-1 count is a lot more relaxed than an 0-2 count, but I seem to do better 0-2, 1-2. That's a hard way to make a living. When I get ahead in the count, I try to do too much, and that's hurting me.

The state needs to define these students not as dropouts or graduates but count them as a whole new group. They shouldn't count them against us, they should count them as a separate to be more accurate.

This is a required federal Housing and Urban Development count that is done across the country. His counting should be done fairly. The fire marshall should come out, get a manager and sit there and count. He should make sure the count is accurate.

With the paper-based system you can see the ballots being marked, you can see them going into a ballot box, if you have good laws you can go watch them count the ballots, and with electronic voting all of that stuff is hidden inside the machines.
