Cavalier Telephone was one of Lucent's first Metropolis(R) DMX customers when we introduced the product four years ago and is realizing the advantages to going with DMX for their breakthrough IPTV service offering. Cavalier is able to add advanced Ethernet switching to their existing DMX network, optimized for the delivery of video and other multimedia services without a new overlay deployment.

Service quality matters, and consumers have a higher expectation of quality when it comes to IPTV. Working closely with our customers we know that measuring channel change times and monitoring IP infrastructure performance is imperative to the success of rolling out quality IPTV services. These factors, combined with the growing demand for bundled services, have made service assurance a requirement to the successful deployment of revenue-generating services.

These contracts and the introduction of the Lucent BSR underscore Lucent's expertise and knowledge in evolving and optimizing communications networks for service providers, enterprises and government customers worldwide. At 3GSM World Congress, we are showcasing solutions that help service providers create and deliver simple, seamless, secure, portable, and personal multimedia services to their subscribers.

We're working hard to use our network advantages to build strong customer relationships. We'll continue to aggressively roll out telephone service to make the three-product bundle available in a majority of our footprint, and we're on track to offer telephone service to between six million and eight million homes by year end.

GWI currently uses the Lucent Stinger(R) DSL access concentrator equipment in its network, and the Metropolis(R) DMX products will enable GWI to offer new, exciting Ethernet, and even storage area networking services without a significant capital outlay. Working closely with rapidly growing, innovative companies like GWI, in combination with our business partners, allows us to make available products that are flexible enough to keep up with rapidly growing demand and at price points that keep their services highly competitive.

We have a very aggressive deployment plan. We'd like to offer this video service to half of our AT&T residential customers in less than three years. The key is our ability to install the necessary technology in cities and neighborhoods. The faster we can upgrade fiber-optic elements of our networks, the sooner we can bring high-quality video through your existing phone lines.

Our alliance forms the basis to serve a substantially expanded user base by offering advanced network infrastructures for integrated data and multimedia services.

Due to the ease-of-use and low maintenance costs, Ethernet has become broadly used in applications as varied as facilities management and utility and vending machine monitoring. As the industry's smallest, highest performance embedded Ethernet controller, the new CP220x simplifies our customers' task of adding embedded Ethernet capability to any product that has access to an Ethernet network.

From a cost standpoint, it certainly does help [to build in Korea]. We also will leverage that product globally, selling in other markets. It will give it a very broad scope where existing Cavalier does not.

We are very pleased to be able to help Chevron enhance their network operations while reducing their overall cost. We have a very solid track record of providing advanced network management services to global leaders in diverse industries such as financial services, energy, and pharmaceuticals. Chevron is capitalizing on our expertise while remaining very much in control of service and delivery strategy.

The worldwide DSL aggregation market continued its healthy growth in the fourth quarter and throughout 2005, as service providers expanded their footprint and bandwidth in preparation for the delivery of high-revenue IPTV and video services to their subscribers.

Nortel strives to provide more than a superior IPTV network for our customers. Our goal is to enable new and exciting IPTV applications that give our customers a competitive advantage to win and retain IPTV subscribers.

With IPTV dramatically changing the entertainment market and helping to spur demand for broadband, IPTV products will be one of the hottest items on the Telecom NEXT exhibit floor. The Broadband Services Forum is a terrific group to give Telecom NEXT attendees the critical information that will help network service providers with their network purchasing decisions.

Ubiquity offers an excellent, commercially proven SIP applications and a robust service creation environment that complement and expand upon our portfolio of IMS-based service platforms and applications. By integrating Ubiquity's SIP Application Server and IP-based applications into Lucent's offering, we are better able to help our customers rapidly deploy enhanced services that differentiate them from the competition, while offering the cost savings and efficiencies of IP networking.
