en We should have had it won by half-time, but at least this was an improvement on our last game. We went off, but managed to get back on the boil near the end and at least we got a point.

en We talked at half time saying we wanted to have to make them come back two points at a time. Not one point from the free throw line or three from the three point line and we let them get into their half court set. We knew that was pretty much their game and they were going to shoot the three and it just happened they only hit them in the third and not in the rest of the game.

en The second half was better than first half. We were down by as many as 20 points. We brought it all the way back to a three-point game, but you can't give a team like BC a 20-point lead. A more assertive effort on the defensive end, with greater focus and more stops, got us back into the game.

en The second half was different for both teams. They scored 21 points, but we only managed 10 going three for 18 from the field. The game was tight throughout the second half until they hit some key free throws and shots to seal it. We were disappointed to let this game get away, but we will come back strong from this.

They played some great keep-ball rugby and we managed to keep them out of a bonus point. But we know we'll have to up it 15 to 20 per cent next week.

en We've had patience with the freshmen and look at it from a game-to-game standpoint. We're trying not to measure things just on wins and losses. We're trying to gauge improvement. We're building anew and it takes time. Rodney has really helped us at the point.

en I have to be honest, I didn't mean to do that. When the ball came, I tried to get my foot out of the way. But I'm really happy as we managed to show a completely different game in the second half. They really hurt us in the first half.

en Robert Morris has five guys who can step away from the basket and hit the 3 (point shot). We had too many turnovers, especially in the first half. We played better in the second half but built such a huge hole by then it was hard to get back in the game.
