en At the time of the game, you're so mad at the way the game is going, you want to get the ball back because you want to score again. And we got the ball back, and we did move it. You do everything you can to win the game. You think of situations.

en It's the first game we've won that's been a close situation. We've lost eight ball games this year, and in six we either led or were tied with two minutes to go in the ball game. So, we had a difficult time finishing a ball game. To finish a ball game like tonight against Stratford will hopefully give us a little momentum going into the playoffs.

en It was definitely a back-and-forth game, numerous lead changes. Alex Jensen, being my best player, had the ball in his hands all the time, he makes it easy for us to create and score. People might say he didn't dominate today, but 13 points, eight assists and seven rebounds -- that's almost a triple-double. Will Brown struggled early, and then came back and had a big game.

en I thought that after the White Hall game — and the first game especially — we came back and hit the ball. We took that over to Warren where they hit the ball well. We scored 16 runs and they put the ball in play a lot. And Warren is a good ball team. They are undefeated in their conference and they won state last year. So, they've got some pretty good ball players. I was proud of our kids for that.

en We felt like we gave the game to them the last time we played. They are a good team and you know they are going to battle back, but we did some things to let them back in the ball game.

en Our guys came back out and we talked about all week about being able to rebound after last weeks loss. The guys came back and fought hard. Our defense did a good job the whole game. The offense got off to a slow start, but then came on and were able to move the ball and score some points.

en It's a funny game. You come back in a tight ball game, and you're facing the same guy that beat you two nights ago. You've got to have a short memory down there in the bullpen. There's no better way to forget about a bad game than to come back with a good one.

en I think our kids showed a lot of character getting back into the ball game. We fell so far behind that we used so much energy getting back into the ball game.

en It was a nice win for us, a game that we shot the ball well. They just kept coming back and found a way to get back in the game with various plays. It was a great game to watch as a fan.

en He [Cabrera] did great. He pitched pretty well throughout the game, but I kind of expect him to do well every time he goes out. It's just a matter of time before he can get it together and really help us. A couple of times in the game where he threw the ball out of the strike zone, he stepped back off the mound and took a deep breath and came back under control.

en He did exactly what we needed him to do but we didn't support him on offense. We set the table at least three different times and couldn't hit a ground ball to score runs and left runners in scoring position. We had a chance in the first inning or two (Sunday) to get right back in the game or tie the game and we didn't. The complexion of the game is different if it is tied.

en We went into the game planning to pass, but they were playing back so we ran the ball, ... After we ran the first time and it worked, we kept running it. Running the ball so well helped open up our passing game.

en He took the team on his back. She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense. The game was on the line and every time we needed a play he got the ball to the guy that should have it to score or he took it to the goal himself.

en We weren't able to move our feet and contain the ball. And it seemed like when we did get back into the game in the second half, we were making mental mistakes and turning the ball over.

en We were really rushing, I felt like, early in the ball game. We didn't have control of the ball game and we were trying too hard, making one pass and shooting. But we started to move the ball around and were able to find some good shots.
