en He's done a magnificent job with all his guys, especially with Mack (Strong) and Shaun, right from the start. He's got a great feel for them, and they respect him very much.

en Mo (Maurice) Morris did a really good job in place of Shaun and Mack Strong filled in a couple of blanks.

en They're going to try to stop Shaun? Wow, news flash. I feel like we have a balanced enough offense that if Shaun gets 50 yards, if that's all he's got, we can still win the football game. If Washington comes out and tries to put eight, nine guys in the box, then we're going to have a great day passing the football. It's going to be incredible. I think it's going to be hard for them to defend us.

en We're not so simple that you can just put eight or nine guys in the box and try to stop Shaun. Teams have been trying to do that all year ... Let them focus on Shaun. That sounds like a good plan to me. Let them start there.

en The coaches put a lot on those offensive linemen. The stereotype of the dumb offensive linemen is not true on our team. Those guys work really hard; they study really hard ... When we're on the same page, the offense seems to move well. It happened. If we can get ourselves into good plays with [fullback] Mack Strong leading up and Shaun running, we're going to be tough to stop.

en He would give Shaun the respect and try to let him get (the record). Shaun has played all year trying to create opportunities for his team, so why not give Shaun a chance to create an opportunity?

en I never watch the TV news or read the paper, so anything I hear comes from the linemen or (fullback) Mack Strong. They were more upset with the Shaun-hasn't-had-a-100-yard-game or he-got-knocked-out talk. But it's football. You just hope that at the end of the game you have the lead, and we've done that in back-to-back weeks now.

en Look at what Shaun has done. You could make a pretty good case that Mack is as valuable as anybody we have.

en Mack is about my favorite player of all-time. He does all the dirty work. We have drafted in the last few years a couple guys to replace Mack, because at some point, everyone's career ends. But I'll be darned, we can't do it.

en To be honest, Mack deserves to be up here. I guess at 79 years of age, it was my last shot. But seriously, Mack is a friend and I congratulate him on a great year.

en Mack has tremendous technique and flawless execution. What is most impressive about Mack is that he's always in great position, which is an indication he'll be an outstanding collegiate wrestler.

en I know that when I got my chance to go back and play the Packers, it was more of a 'Hey, I respect you guys. I like you guys, but it'll be even that much sweeter to beat you guys,' ... I'm sure they feel the same way. We respect those guys. They went to another team to make more money, and we're not mad at them. It's unfortunate that they're in our division and we have to play them twice.

en I don't mind a guy going at me at both ends of the floor, I can respect that. But when guys start throwing elbows and when they kick you when you're down, that's dirty basketball and I don't respect guys like that.

en Shaun was absolutely magnificent tonight. I'm delighted for the boy. It's been a tough time for him but his attitude in training has been first class all the way through the season.

en Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. When I finally got back here, I think it kind of sunk in that I had done something special. It was fun. Even in the locker room, all the guys were still excited, all the linemen and Mack [Strong].
