I wasn't trying to ordtak

en I wasn't trying to stall, but I wanted to make sure we were in the right place against the zone. It turned out better than I thought.

en We were unable to stick with them to a man. When we turned to a zone, that seemed to stall them and create turnovers for us.

en We wanted to force them to play man-to-man defense because we execute well against it instead of a zone. The zone hurt us the first time around. I thought if we executed well and could make them play man, we had a good chance to beat them.

en I turned to watch him get in the end zone. All of a sudden I see the ball just go flying. My first reaction is just to go get it, but I knew I wasn't going to get there in time, so then it's let's try and slow him down. I think I turned him enough times that he got close to me and he couldn't decide which way to go, so now I just saw his leg and grabbed it, and luckily he went down.

en We wanted to come out and make something happen right away. I thought we accomplished this, but we also did a good job of slowing them down with our zone defense.

en In the first half I wasn't pleased with our defense. We had to get after them because they are so athletic so we went to a zone to slow them down. I thought our guys did a great job in the zone. They rotated and boxed our very well.

en Oh, it was, you know, whatever. I'd rather not. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything, really. There were times when we really got along and I learned a lot of things from him but there were a lot of times when he's in his own world where he thinks he knows what's best and he doesn't know what's best, really. It just wasn't fun to do and it wasn't a fun record to make. The music turned out rad. It's just when you're making a record, especially when you're working on vocals, I've only worked with a couple of producers and most of the records I've done with Terry Date . The reason we chose Ezrin is because we wanted to do something different, but I learned that different isn't always good. If we want to make a different album, it's something that we do on our own, not something some producer comes in and says we should do.

en We weren't trying to stall, even if it might have looked that way. We just wanted to be patient and get the shots we wanted. We did not want to make it a half-court game. We decided to we'd extend the game 94 feet, and it ended up working out for us.

en I was hoping to stall the ball because I thought they would make another run. We never cracked under the pressure.

en I had been trying to aim the ball a bit. So I just threw as hard as I could. I wasn't worrying about trying to make a perfect pitch. I just wanted to throw it in the strike zone and give them a different speed. It was very effective.

en When we came to work here we came with a mission. We wanted to shine light in dark corners and make the world a better place. We wanted to expose corruption. We wanted to provoke thought, debate and, yes, laughter. ...I don't believe that a newspaper is nothing more than a money machine. If you do, dear reader, then we have failed miserably in our commitment to you.

en I was very satisfied with the way we handled their zone. I thought we were really patient and worked hard to find good looks. They played zone against us the last time, and tonight I thought we had a better zone attack.

en Our girls thought that play was off-side. The puck had cleared the zone, and when they scored we were on our way (out of the zone). We thought we got it out of the zone.

en His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked. I wanted to expand beyond audio and offer clients other kinds of creative, but I knew it was important to partner with someone and not just hire a designer. I wanted a person that would have a stake in the company's success ? someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that could make this into its own thing. John is someone I've known for years and the timing turned out to be perfect because at the same time I was looking to expand he was thinking of opening his own place as well.

en If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything, really. There were times when we really got along and I learned a lot of things from him but there were a lot of times when he's in his own world where he thinks he knows what's best and he doesn't know what's best, really.
