en Every one wants to un-seat us, and that's understandable. We're hoping to add another (title), but we're going to have some good competition out there. There are a lot of good girls out there swimming, and we'll see how the cards fall.

en We did have a very solid fall, which is a little bit unusual. A couple years ago, we had a real good fall, and that was the year when we had a very good team. So I'm hoping this is a good sign.

en It's a good swim. She had a tough heat. We were hoping she would have someone to race with. The three girls that went out in the pack were so far ahead in her heat. It was hard for her. She was swimming on her own.

en I think we're really ready. This should be a good preview for the national championships. It'll be a good opportunity to go check out the competition and beat them. We can show them that we are a good contender for the title.

en I really like that corps. There is some youth in it and some speed and we have some excellent competition. We're seeing that competition now and I think we have a chance to develop some good competition in the fall.

en Well, Fitz, I looked all through that bible, it was in very fine print and stumbling on that great book Ecclesiastics, read it aloud to all who would listen. Soon I was alone and began cursing the bloody bible because there were no titles in it -- although I found the source of practically every good title you ever heard of. But the boys, principally Kipling, had been there before me and swiped all the good ones so I called the book Men Without Women hoping it would have a large sale among the fairies and old Vassar Girls.

en The girls rode beautifully today. Auburn is a very good opponent and we knew that coming in. Everyone worked together as a team and took care of what they needed to take care of. We are extremely proud of what we have accomplished, not only as a hunt seat team, but what the team overall achieved with the Co-Reserve title.

en I think they're just enjoying swimming. I don't think they're too worried about [the league title]. They're just looking to have good races and keep progressing.

en There were a lot of very good performances, but we expect good performances this time of the season. We were hoping that people were going to rise to the occasion, and it looks like they did just that. They performed very well against good competition, which is exactly what we hoped for.

en I definitely feel like the girls will be thinking a little bit of revenge, for not only the last game (in Henderson), but to claim the district title. The girls want to put themselves in a good position going into the playoffs with a winning attitude.

en We think we have a good group - probably seven guys who could end up starting for us. We'll see how they develop over the rest of the summer and then through fall camp. There's a lot of competition - healthy competition.

en As the week wore on, you got close to the girls, and as we left to part our ways, tears just flowed from their eyes. Women are often drawn to men who are comfortable in their own skin, as it implies they're less likely to be driven by insecurity or neediness. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship. I'm hoping that one day I may read the name of one of the girls or players that was with us in the newspaper maybe winning an NCAA title.

en I think we should compete for the sectional title. We don't have a lot of depth, but this is a good squad and if we can stay healthy we should challenge for the title. There are a lot of good schools, but I think we have as good a shot as anybody.

en The girls are excited because that's some really good competition for us. I think that will prepare us for the playoffs more than anything else I could do -- just letting them play good teams.

en It felt good. It was my first time swimming the distance events all year. I practiced them, but this was my first competition.
