I thought we played well overall. But we?re in better shape now and the cooler weather has helped us because of our lack of depth.

Well, we won a basketball game. They helped us out because they were undermanned. They played more aggressively than we did. They executed better. They were sharper. I'm pretty ecstatic about it. It helped having some bigger schools there for competition, and Regina played really well, too. It was a perfect day for golf, though that tournament is notorious for bad weather. The course really played well for them -- flat and open. They're used to a tight course at Macbride.

I have mixed emotions about playing Jim. Jim was a very, very loyal coach with me, and I wish him the best. I thought his kids came in here and I thought they played hard. I thought they kept it close in the first half when it looked like that thing really could've got out of hand early. I think our depth wore them down.

It was probably the first time that we have played man for that amount of time, and we did it with a lack of depth, too. We played man against a very good team with a lot of experience. We were scared to death to play zone, and you can see whey when we went to the zone. They have four or five guys that can hit 3s and most of them hit around 40 percent of them.
