We had five days of great workouts down there, which was great for the team and I think it's going to help us later in the season.

I am really proud of the way the team competed throughout the league. We showed tremendous growth in our three competition dates. The league is an integral part of our spring season. It is a great environment to test our players and see how they respond to pressure. Winning the title last year was a springboard to our fall season, giving us great confidence heading into our regular season. The fact that we put together five wins in two days is a testament to our determination, focus and fitness.

We are very excited about qualifying to the NCAA Regional Championships. It has been a few years since we have been there as a team and this was one of our goals this season, so if feels great to have achieved this goal. Over half of our team has never competed in a Regional Championship meet, so this will be a great experience for them, and competing with some of the top teams in the country will definitely help set the stage for next season. Anything can happen on any given night. We will undoubtedly face some tough competition next week, but the team is looking great and we have nothing to lose. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters. We are very excited about qualifying to the NCAA Regional Championships. We have taken some huge steps since last season. Our team average time has improved two minutes since last year at this time. We have been focusing more on miles rather than speed so far this season. I am anxious to see what happens when we add speed to our workouts. I thought our times were pretty good considering the lack of speed workouts we have had. We still have some work to do but I like what I see so far. This is a very experienced team and they know what it takes.

Our expectations are high for this season. We've got a great team here and a great sponsor in Champion. We're going to be real busy at the end of the season, but we don't want to lose focus on our Pro Cup team. We're here to win the overall title. If we have to give up a few wins to win the championship, we will.

During the past 15 days, my knee has been feeling great. I was out on the track doing sprints, agility movements, throwing and exercises to help increase my stamina. Even with some fluid remaining, my knee has been handling the pressure and I've been able to work through it. My workouts continue to be positive and I feel that I'm getting closer to my goal of joining my teammates this season.

Barry Bonds (1964-)

We've had some great pre-season workouts and hopefully it carries over when the dual meets begin.

I think if you follow Gadsden during the season, you will see what a great team we beat tonight. They are a great team and this was a great win for us.

We will go into this season with a great motivation, great humility and also a great determination to get back to the top. We have the team, we have the means and we have the drivers, so there is no excuse not to return to where we were, and this will be our aim.

Since the end of last season, the whole team has really started to buy into the whole message of doing things the right way. I haven't had any off-the-field problems. I haven't had to check rooms at night. They've been doing conditioning workouts at 6 a.m. four days a week. You can tell they've been investing some time in the weight room. We are starting to look like a football team is supposed to.

That was great that year, ... That was the most fun I've ever had. We had a great crew and it was a great season. Nothing beats that, when the team just keeps winning.

He obviously has a great arm and foot, but he also is one of the best blockers on this team, and he does a great job on defense. If there were 11 Kyle Days on a team, you wouldn't lose.

Great pickup, great guy, great team player. He's a great human being, a great acquisition to the team and our offensive line. He's a quiet guy, but once you get around him and get to know him, you see he jokes a little bit. Most of the time, he just goes about his business.

Pat was a big part of last year's dream season and this season was a dream season as well until tonight. He always gives a great effort and had another great season. Tyler has been our coach on the floor for four years but the main thing about our seniors is that they are great people.
