I really liked the way the kids played under these conditions. I'm happy we played as well as we did, on the road, against a very good team.

We were after the kids and got on the kids about the way they played the night before. They'll be as good as any team we've played this year. St. Thomas More and Duchess Park are both really good teams. We haven't played them.

It was the best game we've played this year. It was a step in the right direction. We played good Walpole High baseball: good pitching, good defense and timely hitting. It was our third road game in a row, so we're happy with a 2-1 record.

I played a good game, but I'm so happy because the team won. The last time I played well and we lost. For me the most important thing is to make the playoffs.

It was a good road win. I was proud of the way we played. I know we've got to get better, but we also played well for the most part. We played well defensively several times in the second half when we had our backs to the wall.
