Looking at the young ordtak

Looking at the young players we have from Latin America, I've seen some interesting players.

I think the future is bright. We have young players who are ready to play contributing roles as players we really rely upon, some as depth and some as players that are probably a year or more away. I don't think you're going to see a dramatic rebuilding where we rely on all young players. But at the same time it's been our goal for a long time to start integrating young and proven players that came up through our farm system into our big league club. I think you'll see more of that next year.

It's an interesting and exciting time. We did that with the Raiders. We started John Ritchie, Mo Collins and Charles Woodson. Despite all the people that think I don't like young players. I've done it before and I'll do it again if they're our best players.

Everybody thinks the players who come from Latin America were shining shoes, ... I lived good.

We do have to buy players like Real Madrid and AC Milan so we can't say our philosophy is just to use young players, ... We will bring players in from outside and inside but it is up to me and the academy to make sure the players are good enough.

We've gone through growing pains with young players this year, ... but that's part of developing young players ... We like our young players. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness.

There's been popular players like Carlos Franco (Paraguay) and others. But golf really has had a limited exposure throughout all the Latin America countries.

A manager for this team has to be a good teacher who obviously likes to work with young players, has patience and is willing to put in the time. D.J. really does well with the young players. D.J.'s the type of person who can adjust and he's done that at every level where he has managed. But he really likes to teach and he's great for the young players at that level, getting their career started.

That's what we need. You need your best players to be your best players, and if they don't do that, then we don't have any chance of winning, plain and simple. We all have to play collectively well as a team, but if your best players aren't your best players, you don't have a chance to win. The life and the pulse of this hockey team is our young players.

Since the 1990s, the economy has been bogged down. New players have emerged. They are formidable in Asia, but also present in Latin America and in Central and Eastern Europe.

I'm not sure if the USA has ever been exposed to this type of tradition. Fans in the USA applaud but are not as wild as they are in Latin America. I don't think all players in the Major Leagues show as much enthusiasm as we do here.

It's great to have the best players on your team. Last year we brought some players from Mexico. Those players weren't the best players; they were young players. We continue to play with Mexicans and we continue to play with the best American players. That's why this is so special. We're bringing in one of the best soccer players from the U.S. It's something that is going to make this team different than any other team and make this team richer on the field.

It would have been hard to come in here and say we're not happy with the young players. But when you look behind you, where are the players? The young players just weren't on the roster.

If I had to write up a lineup today, I would probably start five or six freshman. We're so young that some of those young guys are going to have to step up. It's kind of interesting. Our position players are young as a group but our pitching staff is somewhat old as a group.

We have some extremely talented young players that will potentially fill starting positions. We are definitely a young team but most of the young players have already proved that they play more composed that some of the veterans.
