en It's nice to have a round of golf like this one. I've been waiting on a round like this for a while.

en It was a good round until I got to No. 17 and then it turned into a great round. I was holding on to a good round and then all of a sudden the chips fell in the right spot. That is the game of golf for you.

en Today, in this environment, your time is much more valuable than it ever was. That's universal. Do people have half a day to just scratch out and go play golf? Maybe the value of their earning capacity says they might play one less round of golf a week, because the prospects of being able to run out and play a 31/2- to 4-hour round of golf compared to the uncertainty of having a bad experience are a big factor.

en I feel good about all of the workouts I've had. I've done well. Now it's a waiting game. I hear anywhere from the second to fourth round or the third through fifth round. I feel like I'll go in the third round, on the first day, but we'll see.

en I have to do something real special the next 33 holes to win this golf tournament. Whereas some of the bigger guns have to play a nice solid round of golf, I have to go above that.

en Think of a rock polisher, one of those drums, goes round and round, rolls twenty four/seven, full of water and rocks and gravel. Grinding it all up. Round and round. en It's always tough when you lose in the first round. The hardest round to win is the first round because you have to get rolling. Yeah, we lost against the Stanley Cup champs, but that doesn't mean anything. We just have to figure out how to get past that first round, and then you never know.

en The first three were Stuart. We'll see when I have three dozen in front of me. They say the hardest thing to do is hit a round ball with a round bat. I think it might be harder to use a round ballpoint pen on a round baseball.

en It wasn't the best round of golf I've ever played but certainly the best in a while. For the last few weeks I've been telling my wife and everyone else who would listen that I just haven't been able to shoot that low round I needed, and today it finally happened.
